My name is Bud Steed, and I’m an author, paranormal investigator, and researcher with a passion for uncovering the hidden stories behind haunted locations and lost history. Over the years, I’ve written and published eight books—five traditionally published and three self-published—focusing on historical paranormal locations, folklore, and unexplained legends.

With a background in investigative work, I approach my research with a methodical eye, ensuring my books are well-documented, rooted in fact, and yet, hold true to the stories and legends that make the stories so interesting. My work blends history, firsthand accounts, the occasional investigation, and compelling storytelling to bring readers into the eerie and fascinating world of haunted places, forgotten legends, and unexplained phenomena.

Beyond writing, I have over 45 years of experience in paranormal investigations, giving me a unique perspective when researching historical cases and paranormal claims. My current projects include Haunted Hotels and Inns and expanding into audiobooks to make my work more accessible.
